Resident Evil 6 PC: How to set Controller Bindings (and connect PS3 controller to PC)

Hi! This is basically a post for people who want to check their controller binding settings for Resident Evil 6 without having to do test runs.

To start:
Connect your PS3 Dualshock Controller to your computer/laptop with this tutorial here. Make sure to download the latest version of MotioninJoy and run the DS3 Tool to enable your controller.

Click 'Enable'  & do a vibration test ooh

When you start the game with the controller, the controls may be messed up so you'll have to set them yourself.

Here are the game manuals (controls) for Resident Evil 6 and an image below to refer to:

SOURCE: http://pshomegazette.com/2012/09/18/resident-evil-6-demo-review/ps3-re6-controls-2/

And here are the Controller Binding Settings:

Move your character with the left joystick and aim the camera with the right joystick

Choose next/previous items/weapons with the Dpad

To ensure that the joysticks will work, plug in your controller before starting the game, run the MotioninJoy DS3 Tool program, and remember to click 'Enable'.

For slow or laggy aim speed, set all your Graphic Options/Quality Settings to LOW.
You could also try setting your graphics card settings for High Performance instead of Quality. (but I'm not exactly sure if it works since I didn't compare)

I've done a few test runs in Mercenaries to check the controls & I'm fairly certain they all correspond to the default PS3 controls. If there are any problems please let me know.

Hopefully this tutorial was kind of useful but it seems that not many people play RE6 anyway =[

I actually bought RE6 on Steam  (despite already having it on PS3) a few months ago but it didn't work because I didn't have Pixel Shader 3.0 on my old computer.
Now that I can play the game, I'm pretty happy but there are some disappointing things about it:

- Using a mouse and keyboard makes this game basically unplayable for me since I use a laptop and an old mouse.
- It is extremely rare to find people to play online with. I mainly bought the game on Steam for the DLC and No Mercy mode but I can't even find anyone online!
I've had to resort to adding friends on forums which is bothersome. =o=
- No Mercy mode gives me lag but I guess that's just because my laptop isn't that great

It was $13 (incl. DLC) during the Capcom Anniverary sale though, so it was worth it.

If you want to play RE6 Mercenaries for fun (or any other DLC modes/No Mercy) on Steam with me, add my Steam ID: moobinator

I also have a RE.net account.
I may not be a hardcore highscore hi-jink but I can keep a 150 combo :D

Sigma Mr. Bunny Travel Set Review

A few months ago I got my first set of make-up brushes from Sigma because I won a giveaway from handmadereviews & Sigma :) Thank you!

This is more of a mini review since I don't use all of the brushes but I hope you find it somewhat useful.

(Please "open link in new tab" or click on the pictures if you want to see bigger versions. Maybe I won't combine pictures again because they turn out too small x_x)

Mr. Bunny Brush Travel Set

Isn't it so cute >< I was torn between the Mrs. & Mr. Bunny set but decided to get this.
However, I noticed the Mrs. Bunny set changed! o-o I swear the silver handle used to be light pink, which was the reason why I didn't buy that one. If it had been silver back then I might have chose it instead =3=

The brushes came protected with their individual wrapping

All of the brushes together! Sorry for the overexposure ><
I didn't bother taking pictures of each separate brush because you will see them on the paper at the end :)

LOOK AT HOW FLUFFY THEY ARE

The free gift over a $30 purchase was the E05 Eyeliner brush

"The Sigma Beauty Mr. Bunny Travel Kit was specially designed to deliver the perfect makeup application. This kit contains seven travel-size brushes from our best-selling Essential Kit that utilize the Sigmax HD filament. The brushes come in an innovative and functional container that turns into two brush holders to keep you stylish, organized and vegan-friendly!  Brushes Included: E30 - Pencil: Soften and smoke out lines. Soften pencil liners along the top and bottom lash lines, add shadow to line the eyes, or use to highlight inner corner of eyes.E40 - Tapered Blending: Soft blended crease. Using just the tips to apply color, sweep back and forth through the crease for a diffused and blended finish.E55 - Eye Shading: Even application of color. Place color across the whole lid for an even and strong application of product. E65 - Small Angle: Create precise lining. Moves fluidly and easily across the upper and lower lash lines. Use with gel, cream or powder liners.F30 - Large Powder: Even powder application. Uniform blending of powder products onto the face and body.F40 - Large Angled Contour: Subtle cheek application. Use the angle to softly contour the cheekbone. Can also be used to apply blush.F60 - Foundation: Smooth foundation application. Apply liquid or cream products such as foundation and primer."

The brush I use everyday is the F30 Large Powder brush for setting my BB Cream with loose/pressed powder. After I watched this powder brush video by gossmakeupartist, & started using his technique I realized that the large powder brush wasn't as soft as I originally thought D; Using the F30 to pat/roll on the powder helps my makeup look better but feels more scratchy on my skin.

The F40 Large Angled Contour can be used for contouring or applying blush. Personally I found it a tiny bit awkward to use, but that's just because I suck at contouring my face lol =o=

The F60 Foundation brush is a nice alternative instead of using fingers but it makes my BB Cream too streaky so I have to blend it with my fingers anyway. It's an okay brush but sometimes it feels a bit scratchy.

For applying eyeshadow as eyeliner or gel eyeliner, I use the E65 Small Angle brush. It's thin enough for precise lines and I even use it to apply eyebrow powder.

I like to use the E30 Pencil brush for smudging my eyeliner/brown eye shadow for a softer look.

I haven't used the E55 Eye Shading or E40 Tapered Blending brush because I don't wear eye shadow on my lids. However, I gave them to my sister & she really likes them! She told me that the E55 brush is dense & good for packing on color while the E40 is fluffy & good at blending colors and buffing out harsh lines.

Although I rarely use the E05 Eyeliner brush, it's quite good for thin, precise lines (even better than the E65) The tip is sharp & some people may find it easier to use than the E65 Small Angle brush. To me they have almost identical functions. It could be used to draw on lower lashes if you're going for a more dramatic or gyaru look.

Overall I do like this brush set. It does it's job for a lazy make-up noob like me. The short brush handle size for travel is convenient along with the container that can be used as 2 brush holders.
The synthetics bristles are soft & fluffy~ I wish some of the brushes were softer though, because they can feel a bit scratchy.
The case is a bit chunky & I can imagine people preferring a brush roll just because sometimes I find it annoying to snap the top back on while making sure none of the brush bristles get caught outside. I think that's just me being picky though.
Washing the brushes is fast and simple with no/minimal shedding. The brushes also dry quickly overnight or maybe 1 day. I noticed they dried quicker than my sister's non-synthetic brushes.
The quality of the brushes are good, as nothing has broken/fallen apart.
I take pretty good care of my brushes & don't just dump them in a make-up bag so none of the writing has scratched off. If you do dump them in a make-up bag, it won't look as new.

The price has been bumped up from $65 to $75, which I think is slightly expensive?
However, this is my first brush kit so I can't really compare the quality/price with other brushes. If I didn't have the $50 gift certificate I wouldn't have bought it but that's coming from a poor uni student haha

With shipping costs (to Canada), it will add up to about $12 per brush with the current price. But you get a useful travel case that will protect your brushes so that's a plus.
If you do plan to buy anything from Sigma, make sure to check out their coupon codes and promotions to save money!

Nixoderm (Acne Treatment) Review

A few months ago my dad went back to Malaysia & brought back this acne treatment.
My acne was getting pretty bad recently so I was pretty happy to have something new to try.

Nixoderm is a treatment for various skin problems as listed below

"Used externally for pimples, blackheads, itching, rashes, ringworm of the skin and scalp."

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Benzoic Acid 6% w/w
Salicylic Acid 2.5% w/w
Precipitated Sulphur 4.6% w/w

These ingredients help exfoliate the skin & get rid of bacteria.
Some nice advice is also included~

INSTRUCTIONS: Apply twice daily (morning & evening) for 7 days, then discontinue for 3 days & repeat if necessary.
Applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly will reduce stinging for sensitive skin.

Nixoderm is is a thick white paste which is slightly greasy/oily feeling. I only apply it at night, because if I go out I don't like to use this under makeup.
I've used this product for a few months & it is pretty effective for pimples. It really dries them out & brings them to the surface if you have "underground" pimples like me. It's actually a bit gross because when I apply it at night & wake up in the morning, the pimple is huge . . & crusty? haha sorry gross but that's what acne is = =;;  Either that or it's reduced in size.
The paste can really sting/itch/burn but I got used to it & didn't find it too bad. (I was too lazy for the petroleum jelly =o=;;) It also has weird smell but I don't really mind.
This product seems to work better for me than popular acne treatment brands like Clean & Clear's benzoyl peroxide persagel or salicylic spot treatment.
Although I'm usually not a fan of tub/jar packaging, I think it would be hard to put this in a tube since it's so thick.

I'm not sure if it works on my cystic acne, because those take forever to get rid of. TT-TT

PROS:
- helps reduce & dry out acne
- good spot treatment for acne to bring them to the surface
- cheap price (RM 5.90 ~ CDN $2.00 )
- no added fragrance ^^

CONS:
- stings skin & can cause redness upon application
- can be drying for skin
- can usually only be used at night unless you want to go out with white patches
- not available locally in Canada

Overall this is a great acne product that you should try if you have the chance. It's really inexpensive & effective against pimples while being able to treat other skin problems too (although I haven't used it for anything else o-o)

Thanks to my relatives who recommended this product to my dad ^^

Anime Revolution @ VCC Saturday, Aug 17, 2013

Hi guys, here is probably the worst post on Anime Revolution 2013 because I suck. Enjoy.

Goku!! Never watched the anime though

Is this Hastune Miku or Senkaku Mei?

idk

Does anyone know what this is?! ;o;

Can you spot the Snk cosplayers?

Kuroko no Basuke cosplayers ;o; (facepalm bc I was too shy to ask them for proper pic lol)

 Bunny ears!

"Master Chief" - A google search says they are from Halo!
I wouldn't have known otherwise. There were a bunch of people crowding around to take their pictures outside the convention center.

To be honest, I thought that there would be a lot more things inside the center but there wasn't, so it was kind of a disappointment. I didn't take many pictures either because there wasn't much imo.
I guess after seeing some videos of Comic Con I thought it would be like that but maybe that's unrealistic XD

There were a lot of vendors with nice items but I wasn't really into it & it was super expensive.
I saw doujinshi's for sale! They had yaoi (¬‿¬), hetero, R-18 & others. I wanted to look through them but the woman shooed me away because she was still arranging things LOL but it's ok because I could not imagine buying a tiny doujinshi for $22?? ( ̄个 ̄)

I saw body pillows for sale!! But they were tiny. And female. PFTT where are my Snk & Kurobasu pillows! I mean, don't you want a disheveled Jean or Eren or Levi in your arms urhurhurhur . . . I think I would enjoy "boyfriend shirt Eren". anyway.

There was a lot of great artwork for sale by artists & I was so tempted to buy a Free!, Shingeki no Kyojin & Kuroko no Basuke poster!!! argh but I am about 3 steps away from being a hobo so I'll just enjoy art online lol.

The maid cafe looked kind of awkward. Why did I think that there would be decorations on the outside?? If you went in that area you would hear lots of squealing voices. And see cute maid outfits ;o;

I don't understand how people can go there for so long, & 3 days in a row (⊙ω⊙)

I admit I was done walking around after about 1 hour. But then again I'm not really super into anime. I mean they had gaming rooms & discussion places but that required social contact with strangers so . . (A discussion about Free! Swimming Anime was taking place I think. omg what is there to talk about, they are hot & borderline homo with wonderful friendships & that is lovely)

If you were expecting nice cosplay pictures, sorry! >< I only went there for 2 hrs until my friend had to go to work. By the end of 2 hours my back was killing me (results of sitting at my computer everyday for almost 2 months, almost all day)

Erm so yeah, that was the 1st time I actually kind of hung out with a friend outside of my house all summer & it was only for 2 hours lol. It was fun~ Thanks to my friend & her boss ^^

2013 Graduation Commencement

-

So I have finally graduated high school! Ugh, what a long & tiring 4 years this was.
Although I graduated, I didn't walk across the stage to receive my fake certificate because I was too lazy & cheap to order the gown & cap LOL. Seriously, $50 for a blue carpet I will never use again.

I actually wasn't too excited for graduation . . I was more excited for summer so I could spend all day on the computer reading manga & watching videos haha =3=
So I didn't go to prom either because I was lazy & cheap again.

Uh . . I have nothing else to say wtf so

Picture time!!
Sorry for the weirdly edited pics. I went kinda crazy after discovering this Chinese picture editor Meitu XiuXiu. It's a really nice editor! My friend actually showed it to me on her iTouch awhile ago but since I mainly use my computer to edit photos I wanted the desktop version.
Unfortunately it's only in Chinese but it's pretty easy to figure out if you play around with it & have used other photo editors like Picnik before. Here is a quick (maybe outdated?) English tutorial
Sometimes it has some glitches but if you reload the page it should be fine. Also, loading can be slow but maybe that's just my computer or internet.

Most of my photos turned out too dark or bright =o= The flash on my camera washes people out so I usually don't use it.

Oh & despite these being commencement photos they really aren't. They're just weird photos I took with my friends.

ugh

mad Sydney who wants me to stop taking pics of her

why do I look so creepy

because I am so creepy

salacious Sydney

my friend Sydney has such pale luminous skin *jealous

library~

my friend looks so sassy <3 her="" p="">

Wearing my Hana/SP Eye EO DizonEye Violet Circle Lens & Daiso False Eyelashes~

TT-TT . . . I feel old. I don't want to grow up & be mature. *cries

Only now do I feel that being a kid was pretty good . . I didn't have to worry about as much as I do now.

Hopefully I will mature or something in university. The sad thing is although I've already enrolled in university, I don't really feel like going . . LOL. I'm tired of studying!
My ideal dream is to be a cute rich NEET hikkomori who never has to go out in sunlight.

Oh & I've said this before but I think I actually will start doing product reviews. Yeah hopefully I won't be too lazy this summer. Although it feels halfway over. =[

This is my 1st summer in years without summer school! I must enjoy it thoroughly & read tons of manga & watch some animes & relax & eat & sleep & do nothing all day muahahhahahaha

Does anyone have any good anime recommendations?
I'm already watching Free! swimming anime & I'm gonna watch Snk . . I don't like watching incomplete animes because it's so tiring to wait for updates but tumblr is totally spoiling it for me so I feel like I'm forced to watch it anyway =3=.
